Logan Paul has admitted he made a "f***ing mistake" after asking Alix Earle if she had won Dancing With the Stars, a question that visibly left the influencer uncomfortable.

The WWE star and internet personality interviewed the University of Miami graduate on the carpet at the Fanatics Super Bowl Party during Super Bowl week in San Francisco.

During the exchange, Paul suddenly asked Earle, "Have you won Dancing With The Stars before?" despite her finishing runner-up on the latest season of the ABC competition show.

Visibly taken aback at the time, Earle replied, "No, I haven't. Thank you so much for rubbing it in."

She had competed on the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars but finished second to Australian wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin.

Paul has since addressed the moment on his "Impaulsive" podcast while speaking with Barstool Sports personality Brianna LaPaglia.

"That was a f***ing mistake," Paul insisted. "I made such a mistake. I thought she won. I was like trapped. I was like, 'Oh f***.' Here I am thinking I'm complimenting her, like laying her up to be like, 'Yeah, I won!' And then, I was like, 'F***, she didn't win."

He continued: "I felt so bad because you could tell in that moment she was..." before LaPaglia interjected, "She was uncomfortable."

"Yeah. Man, she gave us the grace of joining the podcast," Paul added.

"I can't believe she even sat down," LaPaglia said.

"I owe her an apology," Paul admitted. "[...] Look, I'm not a perfect human being, far from it."

At the time of the original exchange, Paul's co-host Mike Majlak appeared stunned, asking him, "Why would you say that?"

Paul responded during the interview, "Look, I thought you should have won, so did my wife," prompting Earle to reply quietly, "Thank you."

The awkward moment was not the only tense exchange during the special episode, as Paul also traded barbs with NFL legend Tom Brady over the upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Brady dismissed suggestions that Paul's experience in WWE would translate to football, saying: "I'm actually a little worried for you. You're a good athlete, but these guys are on another level. It's cute. I love WWE. It's very cute.

"But, honestly, this is like real football, real competition. Let's see if you can still bring it. I mean, we all had a great past.

"I won seven Super Bowls, You know what matters? This game, March 21, in Saudi, I'm glad you're going to be there and I'm glad you're finally going to participate in a competition that matters."

Brady and Earle dating rumors continue to swirl

Separate from the on-air exchange, Tom Brady has been linked to Alix Earle following a friendly conversation at a New Year's Eve party.

The pair were later seen together again at a party tied to Super Bowl LX, where they were filmed dancing side by side, footage that quickly went viral.

According to Page Six, speculation persists that the connection between the seven-time Super Bowl champion and the influencer could be more than casual, although neither has confirmed a relationship.
