- WWE Bad Bunny vs Logan Paul? WWE showdown floated ahead of WrestleMania 42
WrestleMania season often blurs the line between sport and spectacle. This year, Raquel Rodriguez is pushing that boundary even further.
As WWE builds toward its biggest annual event, the women's division may have just received an unexpected jolt of star power.
During a recent appearance on TMZ's Inside The Ring podcast, Rodriguez revisited an idea she and Liv Morgan have entertained for years: stepping into the ring opposite two of the biggest names in hip-hop.
"I think Liv and I versus Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion would just be iconic," Rodriguez said with a smile.
Bad Bunny's 2023 San Juan Street Fight against Damian Priest demonstrated that mainstream artists can deliver in-ring performances that resonate with both casual viewers and longtime fans.
Logan Paul has established himself as a recurring competitor. Even Jelly Roll has stepped inside the squared circle. The precedent is there.
Cardi B, notably, is no stranger to WWE programming. She previously hosted SummerSlam and has publicly teased the possibility of getting physical in the ring. Rodriguez hinted that the rapper might already be envisioning her own signature offense.
"She's got a lot of body to work with," Rodriguez joked. "I feel like she'd definitely use her butt."
A bold claim backed by confidence
Beyond the celebrity intrigue, Rodriguez made it clear that she and Morgan view themselves as elite competitors in their own right. The proposed match is not framed as a novelty attraction but as a high-profile challenge.
"We're the greatest tag team of all time," she said confidently. "We're in the history books."
That self-assurance aligns with WWE's larger narrative arc, where confidence often fuels rivalries and builds anticipation. Rodriguez and Morgan have previously identified Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion as dream opponents, dating back to interviews in 2023 when the idea first surfaced publicly.
The appeal is obvious. Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion bring massive global audiences, strong social media presence, and performance backgrounds that could translate effectively to sports entertainment. WWE, meanwhile, offers a stage capable of amplifying that crossover into a headline attraction.
