Following a death, it's natural for those close to the person to mourn and remain in shock for a long while. Hulk Hogan's death happened nearly a month ago, but his name continues to be echoed by his friends, family and wrestling fans all over the world. That's especially the case because of the somewhat mysterious circumstances regarding his passing.

Since his death, Hogan's family has continually searched for the true cause. Initially, it was billed as complications from recent surgeries and health issues. That still appears to be the case, but his final cause of death may have stemmed from what is being considered "medical malpractice".

TMZ Sports reported on Thursday that Hogan's occupational therapist believes a surgeon who worked on him severed his phrenic nerve.

That nerve helps to control a person's breathing, and Hogan passed away when he ultimately stopped breathing altogether, seemingly out of nowhere.

It's a shocking development that has reverberated throughout his family and the wrestling world. It's becoming very possible that Hogan died prematurely, aided by a severe mistake from those who were hired to treat him.
