The 2025 US Open is in full swing, with the first few rounds in the rearview mirror and the high-stakes stages underway. Carlos Alcaraz has already punched his ticket to the semi-finals, where he will await the winner of Novak Djokovic vs. Taylor Fritz.

On the other side of the bracket, possibly awaits Jannik Sinner. The world No. 1 has to get past compatriot Lorenzo Musetti first, but Sinner is the favorite and for good reason. Everything seems to go in the Italian's favor as he enters his age 24 prime. Given how much is expected of Sinner, Drake has decided to ride the bandwagon and bet big on him.

Drake bets $300,000 on Jannik Sinner to win US Open

It was revealed on Tuesday that the legendary music artist dropped $300,000 on Sinner to win the US Open. The payout would be $507,000, at 1.69 odds.

While it seems like a smart and logical bet on paper, fans couldn't help but start getting worried about Sinner. Drake doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to big sports bets like this one. In fact, he seems to usually come out on the losing end.

"The Drake Curse" is well-known and could come for Sinner, but Drake isn't the only one who has placed a lot of hope, and money, on the young star.
