The wait is over, and we finally got to enjoy the latest edition of Super Bowl LX. The Seattle Seahawks crushed the New England Patriots 13-29 and were crowned the new champions. However, we also got to see what Bad Bunny had in store for us during the halftime show.

With a performance lasting just over thirteen minutes in which he celebrated Latin culture and got everyone dancing to tropical rhythms and Spanish music at Levi's Stadium, the Puerto Rican artist made history at the Big Game. However, when it was over, he made a drastic decision on his social media accounts.

Bad Bunny "deletes" himself from Instagram

The "Benito Bowl," named after Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio's spectacular show after the halftime break in the game between the Patriots and Seahawks, left no one indifferent and has been the talk of the town.

With fourteen of the fifteen songs performed in Spanish (the only exception being Die with a Smile by Lady Gaga with a salsa rhythm), Bad Bunny got fans dancing. He was joined on stage by special guests such as Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, who sang "LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAII," and Chilean actor Pedro Pascal and Colombian singer Karol G as his dancers.

Opinions are divided: while some fans and sports enthusiasts, such as US President Donald Trump himself, harshly criticized the show, calling it "one of the worst ever," others, such as Adam Sandler, thought it was a real touchdown for history. "He made everyone euphoric," said the actor, describing the show as "amazing."

However, the conversations are far from over, or at least they won't stop around Bad Bunny, as his absence after the show surprised more than a few. And not because of his disappearance from Levi's Stadium, but because of his drastic decision on Instagram: his posts, profile photo, and even the list of accounts that Benito follows (or followed) disappeared.

The singer's page was flooded with gray, which some fans speculate is related to the beginning of a new creative phase, while others associate it with a calculated reaction to the wave of comments of all kinds following his performance, both good and bad. However, there are also those who interpret the gesture as a way to restart his digital identity.

The truth is that this is not the first time Benito has decided to "delete" himself from Instagram, but his decision has transcended due to the great exposure he achieved with his Super Bowl show.

This brings to the table how artists and celebrities use their platforms not only to stay in touch with their fans or announce updates about their lives or professional careers, but also to send powerful messages where every action-or in this case, absence-can be read as an announcement.
