More than a few tears were surely shed when Tom Brady said he would not be supporting the New England Patriots as his pick to win Super Bowl LX. Since he made that statement this past Thursday, February 5, 2026, the conversation has quickly become a hot topic.

Regarding this situation, which for some, if not many, felt like a betrayal toward the franchise with which he won everything for so many years, there was a voice that wanted to soften things and make it clear that the love remains.

On that same day of Tom Brady's comments, when he likely tried to remain neutral because of his role as a commentator for Fox, the girlfriend of his former teammate and friend Rob Gronkowski, Camille Kostek, thought otherwise.

The young woman spoke at the Tight Ends and Friends event and shared what she believed Brady was really trying to say while keeping a middle-ground stance.

Those were the words of the GOAT when he was asked who his favorite was in Super Bowl LX between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

However, for Camille Kostek, this sounded more political, and she did not believe he was truly neutral or that he was not passionately supporting what used to be his team.

In his heart he's rooting Patriots. I don't know, but yes. Kostek also said of Brady, "he's a Patriots fan for life.

He certainly stirred up quite a situation with his remarks about not backing the Patriots to win Super Bowl LX, although on Friday he adjusted the narrative and said he did support Robert Kraft's team and the owner himself.
