- Seattle Seahawks. Mike Macdonald pokes the Rams' wound as he predicts how Cooper Kupp's career will end
- Philadelphia Eagles. Cooper DeJean left a Super Bowl party holding hands with a mysterious brunette who was not Nikki Bella
Friendship is forged through daily interaction between people. That is how interests, affinities and similarities are discovered, creating unique bonds. This is the case with wide receivers Cooper Kupp of the Seattle Seahawks and Puka Nacua of the Los Angeles Rams.
Not long ago, both players shared the locker room at SoFi Stadium as members of the Rams. Later, however, Kupp left the franchise and headed to the Emerald City.
They even faced each other in this season's 2025 NFC Championship Game, which sent the Seahawks to play in Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium this past Sunday, February 8, 2026, where they captured the title.
During their time together, they built a friendship that crossed state lines, continuing to communicate and show mutual admiration. That is why the Los Angeles receiver did not miss the opportunity to congratulate his friend on the Super Bowl ring he earned against the New England Patriots.
Puka Nacua's message to Cooper Kupp
The multifaceted Rams player took to his X account to leave a congratulatory message for his former teammate, Cooper Kupp.
Cooooooop.
That was the entirety of the text Nacua wrote to his former teammate, making it clear he was happy about the result. And although it was just one word, it was enough to show that something special still exists between them, a friendship that has endured time and distance.
It is worth recalling that he had previously stirred controversy involving Sam Darnold with another message in which he laughed at him, angering Seahawks fans.
Cooper Kupp's statistics in Super Bowl LX
It was not a spectacular game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. Frankly, it ranked as a dull, uneventful, slow contest without many highlight plays, but one that Mike Macdonald's team knew how to exploit.
For that reason, Cooper Kupp did not stand out with a great performance on the field. The Seahawks functioned as a single unit, and in the end, that approach paid off.
- 6 receptions
- 61 yards
- Targeted 12 times by Sam Darnold
- 0 touchdowns
- 23 yards was his longest reception
Despite modest numbers, he ranked as the top player in his unit for Seattle. Now he will have plenty of time to enjoy the victory alongside his family and friends, including the Rams receiver.
