- New York Giants. Jaxson Dart excited to work with Matt Nagy after Travis Kelce's high praise
In the twilight of a career defined by tall highs and deep lows, Russell Wilson is back making a move that makes obvious that he is far from finished. The 37-year-old quarterback, after a frustrating New York Giants 2025 season, has officially entered a process of rediscovering the elite form that once made him a Super Bowl champion.
For Wilson, this is not about coming back but returning to the "Dangeruss" brand as he prepares for the 2026 NFL Free Agency cycle.
One more trophy as ultimate goal
During a recent appearance on the Good Inside podcast, Wilson reflected on his proudest moment, which he remembers with a special feeling: winning Super Bowl XLVIII in New Jersey.
"Winning the Super Bowl, I think, was definitely pretty cool. To win it here in New York, just pretty cool to hold that trophy I'm striving to find a way to win another one
While critics argue that his prime time has left, and even more in a changing NFL landscape , Wilson remains focused on becoming better. Whether he finds himself in a starter role or in a competitive roster in need of veteran poise, the "Dark Russ" era is officially underway.
"Back to my First 10. It's time"
The first buzz began when Wilson responded to a fan on X who happily remembered his prime years. those between 2017 and 2020. Wilson's reply to it was both nostalgic and resolute:
"Man... I gotta get back to Ballin' & being Me. Back to my First 10. It's time. Time to go Dark
The "First 10" comment refers to his first decade in the league with the Seattle Seahawks, where he was a perennial Pro Bowler and a key player of a team that went to back-to-back Super Bowls. His thoughts come after arguably his most difficult professional season.
