Pittsburgh Steelers legend and former quarterback Terry Bradshaw, now a television sports analyst, has no problem with Tom Brady juggling his dual roles as a television commentator and minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

The controversy erupted last week when Brady was spotted in the Raiders' coaching booth wearing a headset, sparking debate over whether he was actively directing the team during their Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Brady and Gronk bring back the magic

NFL fans further fueled the fire upon learning that Brady has been attending meetings with offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, where game plans are discussed and developed.

This revelation intensified the debate, as many league fans believe it represents a clear conflict of interest. On one hand, Brady serves as a commentator for Fox Sports, granting him insider access to other teams and their strategies. On the other hand, as part owner of the Raiders, he could potentially leverage this information to benefit his franchise.

However, Bradshaw dismissed the idea that Brady's dual roles are problematic or demand any special action.

It is, I suppose, different from anything we've ever seen.

I don't have a problem with it.

Bradshaw stated.

Bradshaw isn't alone in his stance. Others directly involved in on-field activities share his view. Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson also downplayed the controversy, indicating it doesn't affect his team's focus or operations.

Meanwhile, Chip Kelly addressed reporters, clarifying that his conversations with Brady never involve sharing sensitive game-planning details. Kelly emphasized that Brady's presence at meetings has no bearing on strategic decisions or play design.

This Sunday, Brady will be in the Fox broadcast booth covering the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. He won't be involved with the Raiders or seen near their sidelines during this game. That scenario won't come up again until mid-November, when he is expected to balance both roles once more.

The Raiders' 2025 journey

On Sunday afternoon, the Las Vegas Raiders will face the Washington Commanders in what promises to be a challenging contest. Despite early struggles, there are signs of gradual improvement under head coach Pete Carroll's leadership.

As the 2025 season heads into Week 3, the Raiders' journey has been a mix of highs and lows. They opened the year with a win over the New England Patriots, generating optimism among fans. However, their momentum stalled in the second game when they fell to the Los Angeles Chargers.

While the team is starting to show flashes of progress, consistency remains their biggest hurdle. To climb back into contention and reestablish themselves among the conference's top teams, the Raiders must deliver strong performances week after week.

With Brady's presence drawing headlines and Carroll working to solidify the roster, the Raiders' season is shaping up to be one of the league's most closely watched storylines.
