- NFL. Shedeur Sanders' surprising rise in Browns QB competition: What you need to know
Simone Biles is officially crowdsourcing her new life in the Circle City. Following the announcement that her husband, veteran NFL safety Jonathan Owens, has signed a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts, the 11-time Olympic medalist took to social media with an urgent plea for local expertise.
Settling into a new home just days after her 29th birthday, Biles shared a photo from inside the Colts' team facility to signal the start of their Indiana chapter, accompanied by a comprehensive list of needs.
"Please send recs for all things INDY +hair stylist +makeup artists +nail salons +restaurants +vet +ETC. +dermatologist +spa," she wrote, emphasizing the logistical whirlwind that accompanies a professional sports relocation.
The move marks a swift departure from Chicago, where the couple spent the last two seasons while Owens suited up for the Bears.
The transition to Indianapolis was finalized on March 13 when Owens' agent, Sunny Shah, confirmed the deal that brings the 30-year-old safety to his fifth NFL franchise.
Biles, who has become a fixture on the sidelines with her custom game-day looks, wasted no time embracing the change.
"No Friday the 13th scaries here. So proud of you, baby... Indy, here we come," she shared in a celebratory post.
Before her public request for recommendations, the couple was spotted at the team's practice venue, getting a first look at the facilities that will define their upcoming year.
Veteran safety Jonathan Owens enters milestone ninth season with the Colts
The signing represents more than just a change of scenery for Owens; it is a significant professional milestone as he enters his ninth season in the league.
Originally an undrafted free agent, Owens has built a reputation for consistency, particularly on special teams, where he logged a career-high 264 snaps in 2025.
With the Colts looking to bolster a secondary that recently lost starter Nick Cross to the Washington Commanders, Owens is expected to provide essential veteran depth and reliability.
"To new beginnings. Looking forward to making Indy our new home... Year 9 it's UP!!!!" Owens wrote in his own announcement, signaling his readiness to compete for a significant role in the defensive backfield.
While the couple recently completed a custom lakefront mansion in Spring, Texas, the one-year nature of Owens' contract suggests they may be looking for a temporary but high-end residence in the Indianapolis area.
