The NFL released the official list of players invited to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, one of the most important events in the pre-NFL Draft process. In total, 319 prospects were selected to participate in the physical, medical and interview tests to be held in Indianapolis from February 23 to March 2.
The Combine is a key showcase for college players looking to improve their draft position, as in front of executives, coaches and scouts from all 32 teams, every second and every repetition can make a difference.
Quarterbacks in the spotlight
As usual, the quarterback position will be one of the most watched. Among the most prominent names is Carson Beck, from Miami, who arrives as one of the most complete passers of this generation. Alongside him, Fernando Mendoza, from Indiana, will look to establish himself as an attractive option for teams in need of depth or medium-term development.
Other notable quarterbacks include Drew Allar (Penn State), Cade Klubnik (Clemson), Garrett Nussmeier (LSU) and Ty Simpson (Alabama), in a class that promises close competition.
Talent in all positions
The guest list reflects a deep and varied generation. At the running back position, names such as Nicholas Singleton (Penn State), Jeremiyah Love (Notre Dame) and Kaytron Allen (Penn State) stand out, while the wide receiver group is one of the largest, with players from high-profile programs such as LSU, Georgia, Alabama, USC and Ohio State.
In the trenches, both offensively and defensively, the Combine will feature heavy linemen from traditional collegiate football schools, reinforcing the expectation that the 2026 Draft will have an immediate impact on the league.
Star-studded defense
On defense, there are outstanding linebackers and deep players with great potential, including figures such as Harold Perkins Jr. (LSU), Sonny Styles (Ohio State) and Caleb Downs (Ohio State), considered by analysts as prospects ready to contribute from their first year in the NFL.
What's at stake:
For many of these players, the Combine represents the opportunity to confirm what has been shown on the field; for others, it is the ideal opportunity to make up ground or attract attention after an irregular season.
