Now that the confetti has confirmed the ending of the 2025/2026 NFL season at Levi's Stadium, another important chapter begins. For 31 teams, this year is officially in the books. As the league sets its "offseason mode," the roadmap for the future has been drawn: the official 2026 NFL Draft order is now set.

For the teams at the top of the board, this draft represents a massive opportunity to erase the bad memories of a tough 17-game season.

The power at the top of the Draft

For the first time since 2007, the Las Vegas Raiders hold the No. 1 overall pick. Despite finishing in a disappointing 3-14 record, the Raiders "won" the tiebreaker due to the lowest strength of schedule. Now, Vegas is widely expected to look for a franchise savior, and it all points at Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza, fresh off a national title and Heisman Trophy.

Here is the final, official order:

  • 1. Las Vegas Raiders 3-14
  • 2. New York Jets 3-14
  • 3. Arizona Cardinals 3-14
  • 4. Tennessee Titans 3-14
  • 5. New York Giants 4-13
  • 6. Cleveland Browns 5-12
  • 7. Washington Commanders 5-12
  • 8. New Orleans Saints 6-11
  • 9. Kansas City Chiefs 6-11
  • 10. Cincinnati Bengals 6-11
  • 11. Miami Dolphins 7-10
  • 12. Dallas Cowboys 7-9-1
  • 13. Los Angeles Rams (via Falcons) 8-9 (Falcons)
  • 14. Baltimore Ravens 8-9
  • 15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 8-9
  • 16. New York Jets (via Colts) 8-9 (Colts)
  • 17. Detroit Lions 9-8
  • 18. Minnesota Vikings 9-8
  • 19. Carolina Panthers 8-9
  • 20. Dallas Cowboys (via Packers) 9-7-1 (Packers)
  • 21. Pittsburgh Steelers 10-7
  • 22. Los Angeles Chargers 1-6
  • 23. Philadelphia Eagles 11-6
  • 24. Cleveland Browns (via Jaguars) 13-4 (Jaguars)
  • 25. Chicago Bears 11-6

The 2026 first round already looks very different from what it did a year ago due to blockbuster trades that have shifted the balance of power. Four teams currently hold picks that originally belonged to others: New York Jets (via Colts), Dallas Cowboys (via Packers), Cleveland Browns (via Jaguars), Los Angeles Rams (via Falcons).
