A legend during her time at LSU, Angel Reese once had the brightest of spotlights on her while with the Tigers.
Now in the WNBA with the Chicago Sky, it appears that may no longer be the case in Baton Rouge if a recent podcast is anything to go by.
During the Best of Both World with Flau'jae podcast, LSU star Flau'jae Johnson was joined by another LSU Guard, Aneesah Morrow.
The two covered a variety of topics from recent games against Missouri and Tennessee, Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show and more.
However what really caught the attention of listeners was when the two discussed which WNBA players they model their games after.
Flau'jae says she likes Napheesa Collier's "spin-back to the goal, the touch". While many expected Morrow to mention Reese, that wasn't the case.
Bad blood between Morrone and Reese?
"Candace Parker. She could shoot it from the three, she could take you off the bounce...I feel like that's my game," stated Morrow.
While there may be nothing behind the omission, some wonder if Morrow opted against mentioning Reese's name due to her strained relationship with Flau'jae.
As for Reese and Morrow, Angel called Aneesah the LSU player to watch out for this season.
Will things change following this podcast appearance? Time will tell.
