The 2026 season of the Unrivaled league has witnessed the triumphant - albeit brief - return of one of the most high-profile figures in women's basketball: Angel Reese.
After an initial absence that generated multiple questions, the Chicago Sky player rejoined the 3-on-3 competition in early February, once again wearing the colors of Rose BC. Her impact was immediate, not only on the team's chemistry but also across the league's stat sheets.
Despite joining the schedule late, Reese demonstrated why she is considered one of the most dominant forces in the paint. In just three regular-season games, the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year posted averages of 13 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block. Her ability to control the boards led her to set a historic mark: she became the fastest player to reach 200 rebounds in Unrivaled history, achieving the feat in just 17 games played across seasons.
"I mean DUH": Reese backs the league's best
Despite her impressive numbers, the "Bayou Barbie" was not considered for this year's All-Unrivaled teams, a purely technical decision due to the number of games played.
